By offering an individual with a mentor, you are giving them a further channel of support to deal with workplace challenges, learn, develop and grow, all of which are a significant help in employee engagement.

Skills Transfer Programe

As part of Skills transfer we would like to support social work students to have international placement in the UK and vice versa. UK is currently the biggest employment market for overseas trained social workers. The placement will help with cultural exchange on top of sharing skills.

Mock Interviews

A mock interview emulates a job interview with students being given an opportunity to get a first-hand experience of the interview process. The interviewer can be an alumnus, a career counsellor, a volunteer or any individual who has fair experience in his or her respective field.

Annual Empowering Conference

I CAN Conference. The purpose of this conference is to help social workers and students to progress to senior roles. The conference is held on the first Friday of May every year.
